A big decision of the Supreme Court was taken on Wednesday regarding women candidates in NDA. Because till now only male candidates have been included in NDA, female candidates were not being included in NDA exam.
On this issue, the Supreme Court issued notices to both the UPSC and the Center saying that there are eligible interested female candidates, based on their gender that they are female.
This does not deprive them of this test, because in our constitution Article 14 which talks about equality, and Article 15 prohibits gender discrimination against any man or woman.
In a way, by gender discrimination against women candidates, we are snatching their opportunities.
Taking note of this matter in the Supreme Court, the petition has urged the concerned authorities to allow qualified women candidates to participate in examinations like NDA and Navy and give training to them so that equality can be established.

NDA for Girls Syllabus, Pattern, Questions | Nda Latest Update
Let us tell you that the NDA exam is conducted twice a year by UPSC. The first event of this examination is held in the month of April, the second is conducted in the month of September.
This exam mainly ends in two phases in the first phase you have written test which you are asked 120 of maths, and for that 300 marks are fixed for this you get 2.5 hours, sometime on the same day There is a General Ability Test in the interval of which you are asked English and GS, 200 marks for English and 400 marks for GS are determined.
In the second stage you are called for SSB. 900 marks have been fixed for this. Now the question must have come in your mind, what is SSB?
When you clear the written exam then you are called for the Service Selection Board (SSB), it lasts for 5 days, now we tell you what tests you have to go through for 5 days?
- FIRST DAY
You do not have to go through the screen test, which consists of the OTR and PP & DT tests.
- SECOND DAY
Now you will have your psychology test.
- THIRD DAY
Now you have GTO Testing (Group Testing Officer) and Interview.
- FOURTH DAY
It is exactly like the third day, only your group is changed in this.
- FIFTH DAY
This is the most important day, on this day there is talk of your selection and the result of the test which lasted for 4 days is declared, which determines that now you are eligible for further tests, now the question comes to your mind that which test now Will happen.
So friends, now you will have a medical test and after this medical test your final merit list comes, this list is determined on 1800 marks, and on the basis of this you clear the cutoff, and you become an officer. I hope you have understood this.
